Keith Kannenberg

Executive coaching and emotional-intelligence development for leaders who want greater clarity, stronger relationships, and more intentional leadership.Helping leaders think strategically, lead intentionally, and create cultures where people thrive.

About

I believe leadership is too important to leave to chance.
I help leaders step back from the daily demands of their roles, see themselves and their organizations more clearly, and lead with greater intention. My coaching combines strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and practical leadership development—not to turn you into someone else, but to help you become more effective at being the leader you were meant to be.
As an ICF Professional Certified Coach, I bring years of experience developing leaders, shaping organizational culture, and helping people navigate the real challenges of leadership. I’m also certified in EQ-i 2.0, EQ 360, and DiSC, which allows us to move beyond assumptions and uncover the patterns influencing how you think, communicate, make decisions, and lead others.
My approach is thoughtful, candid, and practical. I’ll encourage you, but I’ll also challenge you. Together, we’ll turn insight into action so you can think more strategically, lead more intentionally, and create the kind of impact that lasts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?
I work with executives, emerging leaders, managers, and professionals who want to become more intentional and effective in how they lead. I also partner with organizations seeking to develop leaders, strengthen leadership alignment, and create healthier workplace cultures.
What can coaching help me accomplish?
Coaching can help you think more strategically, increase your self-awareness, strengthen your emotional intelligence, communicate more effectively, navigate difficult relationships, and make better leadership decisions. We’ll identify the outcomes that matter most to you and build our work around them.
What is your coaching approach?
My approach is thoughtful, candid, and practical. I’ll give you the space to think, but I’ll also ask questions that challenge your assumptions and help you see situations differently. Our goal isn’t insight for its own sake—it’s turning insight into meaningful action.
Do you use leadership assessments?
Yes. Depending on your goals, our work may include assessments such as the EQ-i 2.0, EQ 360, or DiSC, or Hogan Suite assessments. Assessments aren’t labels or report cards. They give us objective information that can reveal patterns, accelerate self-awareness, and help us create a more focused development plan.
How many coaching sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals. Some clients need a focused engagement to address a specific challenge, while others benefit from a longer relationship that supports sustained leadership development. We’ll discuss the available options and choose the structure that best fits your needs.

Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is essential to effective coaching. What you share in our sessions remains private, subject to the professional and legal limitations outlined in our coaching agreement. For organization-sponsored coaching, we’ll agree in advance on what information may be shared with the sponsoring organization.
How do I know whether you’re the right coach for me?
A strong coaching relationship requires trust, candor, and a productive level of challenge. If you’re willing to examine your leadership honestly, consider new perspectives, and take meaningful action between sessions, we’ll probably work well together. An introductory conversation gives us both an opportunity to determine whether the fit feels right.
